How to Search the NINDS Website

The current NINDS public website offers keywords/phase search to locate information. To perform a search on this web site, enter a keyword or phrase in the search field and click "Go."   The search engine will search the database and return a list of results.

General Search Tips

  • If the results you receive are not relevant, check to make sure you've spelled keywords/phrases correctly.
  • Note that search engine is not case sensitive. Enter your search terms in lower case. The search engine will find both upper and lower case instances of your search term.
  • Search for phrases by entering the words separated by spaces.
  • Do not use special characters in your search (for example, =, ;, (, ), <, >, #, $, +, 's, etc.).
  • Limit the number of characters in search to 30.
